Review: Tsubaki Hair Oil

Bad hair day is something usual for me. Well, I basically dislike my hair. It’s dry, thin and always not “listening” to me.

Hence, when I received a bottle of Tsubaki Hair Oil from SampleStore, I was happy to try it out as it is manufactured in Japan by Shiseido, which is an old and trusted brand.

Tsubaki Hair Oil is the finest premium hair oil, richly formulated with high concentration of selected camellia oil to deeply protect, moisturize and repair your hair, resulting in a luxurious shine.

Tsubaki Hair Oil instantly penetrates hair upon application without feeling greasy or sticky and gives a silky smooth finish. It also protects the hair from damage by UV rays and heat from hair dryers, while preventing split ends and hair breakage.

I like the smell which is described as elegant and indulgent scent of floral and green fruity notes on the box.

Directions of use:
After towel drying, take an appropriate amount, spread on the palms, and apply by rubbing onto the hair, focusing on damaged ends. It can also be applied to blow-dried hair.

How to apply evenly
To prevent irregular application, spread half the appropriate amount (about 20-cent coin size for mid-length hair) onto the palms and work through the hair. Then spread the second half onto the palms and focus on areas that require extra application.

How to prevent flat hair
Particularly recommendable to those who have soft and fine hair) (like me)
Refrain from applying large amount inappropriately and unevenly. Start application from the damaged tips and gradually work upwards to the roots to avoid flat hair.

How to reduce volume or prevent dry hair
Particularly recommendable to those who have thick and voluminous hair
Apply an appropriate amount to wet hair and dry it with a hair dryer. Then spread a small amount onto the palms and apply on bottom half of the hair to reduce the volume.

I like the smell and the non greasy feeling after applied to my hair. It definitely makes my hair shine after application.

Look at my before and after photo!
