Review: My Beauty Diary Vanilla Moisturizing Aroma Mask

My Beauty Diary is the official face mask partner for the relaunch party on 20 September 2014.
They were selling a box of 10s facial masks at S$12 (Usual S$16.90) which I think it was a great buy.

There were 3 types of masks available.
1) Vanilla Moisturizing Aroma Mask
2) Rose Brightening Aroma Mask
3) Citrus Firming Aroma Mask

I prefer moisturizing mask. Hence, I can’t help buying one box since it was cheap.

There is also a free piece of Vanilla Moisturizing Aroma Mask in the SampleStore goody bag.

I decided to try it on the same night.

Information on the product
Sweet scent of Vanilla: A top note of rousing Bergamot, mingled with romantic Lily and a foundation of youthful and sweet Vanilla enables you to enjoy a genuinely pleasant atmosphere when using this mask.

The addition of the classic moisturizing ingredient Hyaluronic Acid to the long-lasting moisturizing ingredient, Cosphingo™, helps the skin to lock in moisture, prevents dryness and increases its hydration level, helping your skin remain clear and maintain its elasticity. Plant extracts from Aloe, Maple Sugar and Cane Sugar deliver hydration to the skin, giving it brilliance and moisture from within.

Nourishing and Soothing:
The complex sweet scent of Vanilla soothes tired skin and relieves stress. The addition of precious marine extracts from Laminaria digitata, Fuculose and Rhodophyta nourishes the skin, preventing dryness and chapping, It also provides comfort to the skin and ensures it retains a healthy look.

How to use
Apply on cleansed and toned face for 20~30 minutes. If there is essence left, use fingers to massage gently for better absorbance. No need to wash away. Continue with lotion or cream to lock the nourishing ingredients into skin.

It smelled vanilla, of cos. But the vanilla scent was not very strong. I was really expecting aroma oil that kind of smell.

I placed the sheet mask for 25 minutes. After removing, my whole face was still wet with the rich essence. Hence, I massaged the essence into my face and use the extra on my neck.

My skin felt hydrated after use. However, the vanilla aroma is not very strong. I guess I would prefer rose or citrus but I need moisturizing more than brightening or firming.
