Review: Boots Cucumber Whitening Facial Mask

It is Guardian 1 day sale again! And I went to search for cheap face masks again! The clearance items are definitely worth buying.

And my star buy today is Boots Cucumber Whitening Facial Mask! It is S$1.50 per piece! Original price at S$5.90 per piece. And I grabbed the last 5 pieces.

The packaging is definitely not one that will attract my attention. I normally buy masks because of their packaging or their cheap prices. And I bought this because it is Boots!

It claims that this easily absorbed whitening facial mask effectively hydrates whilst helping inhibit the production of melanin. With Scutellaria extract to lighten and Cucumber extract to help prserve skins natural moisture balance, whilst Vitamin E smoothes, Witch hazel tightens and Sodium PCA hydrates. Leaves your skin lighter, smoother and tightened.

It smelled of cucumber the minute I took the mask out of the packaging. I love the smell. It is refreshing.

I need to unfold quite a number of times before I can place the mask on my face. I felt stinginess just above my upper lips throughout the 15mins.

I think the mask is overrated because of the brand. I don’t like the stickiness after removing the mask.
