I don’t really have a good impression of Sasatinnie mask after I got a free piece of it from a goody bag more than 2 years ago. Read my review on Sasatinnie Green Tea Oil Control 3D Stretch Mask. However, I decided to give it another try after I bought 2 boxes of the masks at its Nex outlet at 50% off.
I’m going to review on Sasatinnie Aloe Vera Yogurt White Repair Mask. The packaging is nothing fanciful but simple and soothing to the eyes. I guess the Chinese wordings attracted me. To be in love with your skin.
The purpose of this mask is for whitening and removal of dead skin cells. It claims that the Yogurt removes accumulated old dead cells and facilitates absorption of moisturizing ingredients. The mask also improves scars on skin, remove dead cells to restore skin radiance and suppleness. Aloe Vera extract revitalizes and moisturizes dehydrated skin.
After cleansing and toning, place the mask on the face for 10-15 minutes. Fit the mask onto the face by holding the mask to both ears with ear hooks. There’s another flap of mask below the chin. Hence, lift the ear hooks beside the chin and place to both ears for lifting purpose.
Note: There is no protective sheet in this mask.
One thing I like about this mask is that it will hold on tightly to your face. I can walk around the house doing something else without worrying that the mask will drop off or if the essence will drip off. The mask also helps to apply the essence onto my neck area below my chin. However, the back of the ears might be having a little discomfort.
The mask was soothing to my skin when I placed it on my face. However, after removal of the mask, I don’t feel any moisturizing effect. My skin still felt dehydrated. I don’t see any immediate brightening effect.
I guess it’s still not my type of mask.
