I received an email this morning from Domino’s Pizza, which was weird.
First thing that came to my mind was: Is this a phishing email or someone accidentally key in my email address?
I definitely did not place any order for a pizza at 10+am in the morning.
I guess this is a phishing email after I did a google search. There was this post on Bogus Barrister Crime Blog.
However, it does look so authentic!Took 2 snapshots.
This was in 2012. As per the website indicated as below:
This is a scam email being sent out from email@example.com.
We contacted Domino’s pizza headquarters about this and they responded with this:
“If you have received an email from “firstname.lastname@example.org” and have not placed an order from Domino’s Pizza please do not open this email. They are not from Domino’s Pizza, it’s franchisees, or any service provider we use. If you have opened this email, we suggest you do not click on any links contained within it.
