NLB Jiggle, Read & Rhyme

I check out National Library Board (NLB) one day out of curiosity to see if they have any children’s program and was surprised to see many. However, many of the programs are for older children.

I managed to find one for toddlers aged 1-3 years old and is suitable for Alyssa.

I immediately registered for the free event which was held in Toa Payoh Public Library. That’s so near to my workplace and I can go after work at 730pm.

I was looking forward to the event and had told Alyssa about bringing her to the library.

Although it is only half an hour, there was story telling and song singing. The librarian in charge was engaging and it was an interactive event for parent and child.

There were other parents with young children and we joined in the singing with the children. Children also moved in action with the singing.

The topic today was colours and shapes. The songs we sang were all related to colours and shapes.

After the program, there is activity for children.

I would definitely bring my children to such event again.
